Solar Calculator — Gulf Ke Liye Kyun Zaroori Hai?
Bhai, Gulf mein solar ka scope zabardast hai — Qatar, UAE, Saudi mein average 5 se 6 Peak Sun Hours milte hain daily. Sidra Hospital project pe maine dekha tha ki backup power ke liye solar + battery system kaise calculate karte hain. Galat panel count ya undersized battery — dono ka result ek hi hota hai: System failure aur client ka gussa.
Is calculator mein teen modes hain — Panel sizing, Battery backup, aur DC cable sizing. Teeno alag-alag kaam aate hain. Ek ek karke samajhte hain.
Mode 1 — Panel Size Calculator
Panel Count = Required Wattage ÷ Single Panel Watt (Wp)
PSH = Peak Sun Hours (Gulf avg: 5–6 hrs)
Mode 2 — Battery Backup Calculator
DOD = Depth of Discharge
Li-Ion: 80–90% DOD | Lead Acid: 50% DOD
Mode 3 — DC Cable Size Calculator
Cable mm² = (ρ × 2L) ÷ R_max
ρ copper = 0.0175 Ω·mm²/m
Gulf Solar Site — Real Example
Daily Load: 3000 Wh | PSH: 5.5 hrs | Eff: 75% | Panel: 400Wp
Required = 3000 ÷ (5.5 × 0.75) = 727 W
Panels = 727 ÷ 400 = 1.82 → 2 Panels (800 Wp)
Battery (8 hrs backup, 48V, 80% DOD) = (3000÷24 × 8) ÷ (48 × 0.80) = 26 Ah
Loads: 2 fans (100W each) + 4 LED lights (10W each) + fridge (150W) = 390W
Daily = 390 × 8 hrs = 3120 Wh
PSH Gulf = 5.5, Eff = 75%: Required = 758 W → 2 × 400Wp panels
Inverter: minimum 600W continuous, 1200W peak
Gulf Mein Solar Ke Liye Kya Dhyan Rakhein
| Parameter | Gulf Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Peak Sun Hours | 5.0–6.5 hrs | Qatar/UAE summer |
| Ambient Temp | 40–50°C | Panel derating zaroori |
| Panel Derating | −0.4%/°C | STC se above 25°C |
| System Efficiency | 70–80% | Inverter + cable losses |
| DC Cable Drop | Max 3% | IEC 62548 standard |
| Battery Type | Li-FePO4 | Gulf heat ke liye best |
Temperature Derating Kyun Important Hai?
Gulf mein summer mein panel surface 60–70°C tak pahunch jaata hai. Standard test condition (STC) 25°C pe hota hai. Har degree above 25°C pe panel output 0.4% kam hoti hai. Matlab 60°C pe: 35°C × 0.4% = 14% loss. 400Wp panel actually 344W dega. Is derating ko ignore karna Gulf projects mein ek common mistake hai.
