Har motor par ek plate hoti hai jisme us motor ki saari technical details likhi hoti hain — yeh Motor Nameplate hai. Gulf ki kisi bhi site pe motor lagane se pehle yeh plate padhna sabse zaroori kaam hai.

Frequently Asked Questions

Nameplate par diya hua current hamesha Full Load Current (FLC) hota hai — yeh rated operating conditions mein motor kitna current kheenchti hai. Starting current alag hoti hai aur nameplate par nahi hoti — woh FLC ka 6 guna (DOL) ya 2 guna (Star-Delta) hoti hai. Cable aur MCB selection hamesha FLC ke basis par karo.
OLR setting hamesha motor ki FLC ke 95% se 105% ke beech rakhni chahiye — ideally FLC ke barabar. Isse zyada high karne se motor overload protection kaam nahi karega. Isse zyada low karne se motor bar bar trip hogi. Gulf sites pe IEC 60947-4-1 standard follow hota hai.
Main supply cable (incomer) FLC × 1.25 ke hisab se select karo. Star-Delta ke internal cables (motor terminals se contactor tak) smaller ho sakti hain — kyunki star mein current FLC ÷ √3 hoti hai. Lekin agar sab ek hi conduit mein hain toh sab FLC pe rakhna zyada safe hai.
Qatar jaise Gulf countries mein outdoor ke liye minimum IP55 (dust protected + water jet proof) chahiye. Sabmerged pumps mein IP68. Dusty environment mein IP65. IP ke pehle number se dust protection (0-6) aur doosre se water protection (0-8) pata chalta hai. Qatar ka humid aur sandy weather IP55 se kam allow nahi karta.
Insulation class winding ke temperature rating batati hai. Class B = 130°C, Class F = 155°C, Class H = 180°C. Gulf mein ambient temperature high hoti hai (45-50°C tak) — isliye Class F ya H winding wale motors prefer karo. Class B motors Gulf ke hot environment mein jaldi fail hote hain.
