Part 2 — Contactor: Main Power Ka Darwaza
Contactor control panel ka sabse important aur heavy-duty component hai. Isi ke through main power motor tak pahunchti hai. Jab aap green button dabate ho, contactor coil energize hoti hai aur supply ON ho jaati hai — push button chodne ke baad bhi contactor hold karta hai kyunki auxiliary contact se khud hi sealed rehta hai.

Contactor — Working Diagram
Contactor me 2 main contacts hote hain (main power ke liye) aur auxiliary contacts (control circuit ke liye). Coil energize hone pe magnetic force se contacts close hote hain. Coil de-energize hone pe spring force se open hote hain — ye hi motor ka on/off control hai.
Common Problem: Contactor ke main contacts jab ghis jaate hain to sparking hoti hai aur motor ek baar chalti ek baar nahi chalti. Contactor contacts ko clean karo — contactor cleaning ka sahi tarika is post me hai. Agar contacts zyada ghis gayi hain to contactor replace karna padega.
Part 3 — Thermal Overload Relay (OLR): Motor Ka Guard
Thermal overload relay motor ki safety ke liye hota hai. Agar motor zyada current lene lage — jaise bearing jam ho jaana, pump block ho jaana ya voltage problem — to relay garam hokar circuit ko trip kar deta hai. Ye feature motor ko jalne se bachata hai aur repair cost bachata hai.
OLR me bimetallic strip hoti hai jo current se garam hoti hai aur bend karke trip mechanism ko activate karti hai. Setting dial pe motor ka rated current set karo. Zyada set karna = motor jal jayegi. Kam set karna = bar bar trip hogi. Sahi setting zaroori hai.

Voltmeter supply voltage dikhata hai, jabki ammeter motor ka current consumption batata hai. Agar voltage 180V se neeche chala jaaye to motor chalana risky hai — single phase motor low voltage pe zyada current leti hai aur winding jal sakti hai. Agar current normal se zyada dikh raha hai to pump me mechanical issue ho sakta hai.

Voltmeter normal reading: 220–240V. Ammeter normal reading: motor ki nameplate current ke equal. Agar voltage 180V se neeche aaye — motor band karo. Agar current 20% se zyada badh jaaye — pump check karo. Ye dono instruments daily monitoring ke liye zaroori hain.
Wiring Overview — C, S, R Terminals Samjho
Single phase domestic pump control panel se motor tak 3 wires jaati hain — Common (C), Starting (S) aur Running (R). Ye motor ke winding terminals hain. Sahi wiring bahut zaroori hai — agar Starting aur Running wire galat jod di jaaye to motor ulta ghoom sakti hai ya start hi nahi hogi.

Control Circuit — Push Buttons
Green button (Start) contactor coil ko energize karta hai — motor on. Red button (Stop) coil de-energize karta hai — motor off.
